Aurelio Tellez Jr., beloved husband, father, brother, and friend to many, passed away on March 14, 2024 in Los Angeles, California. Born on May 16, 1973 in the same city he called home throughout his life, Aurelio was a man of unwavering love and dedication to his family.
Aurelio's legacy is one of love and devotion. He leaves behind his cherished wife Ana Tellez; sons Anthony, Joseph, and Steven; daughters Haley, Valerie, and Mia; as well as his adored pets Viola, Cashmere and Kobe. He also leaves behind his mother Carmen Tellez, siblings Jose Luis, Enrique, Agustin, Rodolfo, Irma, Socorro; goddaughters Eileen, Juliet, Melody, Mia, Rosalie, Elia; godson Adrian; numerous relatives whom he loved dearly; and countless friends who were touched by his kindness.
From an early age at St Vincent Catholic School to graduating from Bishop Mora Salesian High School in the class of '91 - Aurelio was known for being a loving son with an infectious sense of humor. His journey led him to meet the love of his life Ana on February 14th in the year 2000 before they married on April 10th in 2004.
Family was always at the forefront for Aurelio. Whether it was spending quality time with them or hosting barbecues filled with laughter and good food – nothing brought him more joy than being surrounded by those he loved most. His passion for whale watching allowed him moments of peace while helping others gave him purpose beyond measure. Sports were another great love that brought out his competitive spirit but it was music that spoke directly to his soul.
His playful nature made everyone around him feel light-hearted even during difficult times – making him their go-to person for anything they needed. Spoiling those closest to him came naturally because seeing them happy brought immeasurable joy into every aspect of Aurelio's life.
The outpouring support from family members like you has been deeply appreciated by all who knew Aurelio during this time of immense sorrow. Your prayers have given us strength when we felt weak while your visits have provided comfort when our hearts felt heavy with grief.
May God bless each one who has shown such kindness during these trying hours.
