My Loving GiGi. I miss you already. Love you lots. I will always keep a smile on my face as I remember all the times we spent together. All the wrestling matches Tia took us to and you were just as excited as we were to go. You did not care if one of us would get into trouble and would get left at home you would hop in the car before all of us because you were not going to be the detention lady. Even when we would watch it on tv you were just as hyped. I believe the Ultimate Warrior was on of your favorites! I met Grace Swain back in 1986 at Golden State Mutual Life. Grace worked in Policy Owners Service where she was very helpful and friendly to me as I was new.  Over the years I got to know Grace better.  She was always pleasant when I needed help. However, for those who didn't know how to communicate well with her,  let's just say, she had a little feistiness in her when needed. Grace didn't mess around. Everytime I'd see her at work we would always have a laugh or two. Always. I going to miss you Grace.  Thanks for being my friend.

Ms GiIi  , you will truly be missed.  Cheryl, thank you for sharing your lovely sassy mother with the 702 group.  She was a special lady and will always hold a special place in my heart. ❤️  One thing for certain, two things for sure, Ms GiGi definitely had that style,  class, a sassy attitude and a witty sense of humor about her. To know her was to love ❤️ her.

I remember Gigi as such a vibrant and funny person. She had such a great sense of humor and a zest for life.  Whenever I would see her at a gathering or celebration, I loved talking to her.   She would  always make me smile and get me laughing about something.  I will always hold images of her smiling, laughing, dancing and rocking her cool style.  Such a special person. "Hi Auntie Grace. Hello Niecy." This is how we would always greet each other, and l could feel your smile through the phone. You were always there for me and  treated me like a daughter, not just a niece. When l think of you, l will always think of bowling and the fun we had. I still don't know how someone so tiny could sling that heavy bowling ball down the alley without a struggle. You told me you were small but mighty. That you were.

My grandmother GG was one of the sweetest and wittiest ladies around. Her mannerisms and style stemmed from the days when women walked around as cool cats with style. Whenever I think of my memories with GG, I think of an eloquently spoken woman who would let you know at any time of the day just how much she admired James Brown. I was always inspired by the stories of her life, from how she grew up with my Aunty Ruth in Waxahachie Texas, to how she once toured the country competing in national bowling championships, she would always tell me “Tiger, I wasn’t no square, and neither should you be”. 

I feel good, I feel nice, like sugar and spice, knowing that GG is is heaven reunited with all of the OGs that have previously blessed all of us with their presence of life, and may she rest in eternal blessings and peace.
