Margaret Mary Podzimek passed away on August 10, 2025 at the age of 97. She was born on December 15, 1927, in Los Angeles, California. She is survived by her four sons, Joseph (Pamela), James (Christina), John (Erin) and Thomas (Eva). There are 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. She is predeceased by her husband and lover of her life, Joseph Roy, her brothers John Porter, Lyle Porter, and Kenneth Porter. Margaret worked with the Los Angeles Unified School District for 20 years, retiring in 1989. She was a volunteer with Little Company of Mary Hospital until 2020. She was a long-time member of St. Anthony of Padua Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and going on cruises.
