Vicki Lucille Chavez

Vicki, born and raised in San Pedro, CA, passed away peacefully on August 4, 2025 surrounded by loved ones. She was a Loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Daughter, Sister, Aunt, and Friend who touched the lives of many with her generous heart and vibrant spirit.

She married Joseph Chavez on December 5, 1981, and they shared a beautiful life together until his passing on April 14, 2010. Together, they raised two wonderful children, Sophia (Ruben) and Joseph Jr. (Nina). Her legacy continues through her three cherished grandchildren, Romel (22), Destiny (19), and Camila (9).

Vicki had a passion for dancing and attending concerts, always bringing joy and energy to those around her. Her generous heart and unwavering support made her a pillar of strength for family and friends alike. She was always there when someone needed her, offering a helping hand and a kind word.

Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

A memorial service for Vicki will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, at 11:00 am at Lighthouse Memorials, 1016 W 164th St, Gardena, CA 90247. The burial will follow immediately after at Roosevelt Memorial Park, 18255 S Vermont Ave, Gardena, CA 90248.
