Donald Reamer Bloomingdale

Don was married to the late Jean Marie Wheatley in 1946 at St. Charles Borromeo R. C. Church in Olcott. Jean died July 4, 1997. Don was a World War II Army Veteran who served in Germany from 1943-1946. He worked at Harrison Radiator in Lockport as an inspector retiring in 1974. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Don was also a craftsman who made jewelry and did leather work.

Surviving Don are his children: Carey (Sharon) Bloomingdale, Donna (Howard) Simard, Jack (Cheryl) Bloomingdale and Diane (Thomas Behe) Bloomingdale. Brother of the late: Glenna Proctor. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport, on Tuesday, June 5, 2018 from 6-9 pm. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at 11:00 am from the funeral home with interment to follow at Huskey Cemetery.
