Harriet K. Socha (nee Muck), a lifelong Royalton resident, passed away at Elderwood of Lockport on August 2, 2018, age 89. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years, Theodore D. Socha. They were married August 12, 1950 at the former Royalton Baptist Church. My condolences to Harriet's husband, Ted, and family. I had not seen Harriet for many years but I, also, grew up on the Bunker Hill road. I was in graduating class at Akron High School with Margaret Schultz McKenna, (a relative of Harriet and the Muck's)............Sincerely, Jeanette (Truax) Hamminga, Olcott, NY

My thoughts and prayers are with the Socha family.
Mrs. Socha must have been so proud of her remarkable children.

Have been out of the area for many, many years, but was so sorry to read of Harriet's passing. My most sincere sympathies, thoughts and prayers to Ted and the family. What a wonderful, caring, giving couple Harriet and Ted were over the years. Gentle and giving. I recall visits to their farm/home with my Mom and Dad and sister. Some of my fondest memories include Harriet, Ted and epic family reunions where Uncle Walt, Grandpa Dunkelberger, my Mom, Susan, and others would gather in a farm building and play fiddles, horns, etc. to everyone's delight (and we kids could eat as much ice cream as we wanted). Surely, Harriet will be missed, but will be at peace and rewarded for her wonderful life.
