Helen Beatrice Ingersoll (Canham), age 94, entered into rest on Sunday, October 14, 2018 at the Villages of Orleans Rehab & Health Care Center. Born May 28, 1924 in Ridgeway, NY, Helen is the daughter of the late: Roy G. and Grace A. (Fillingham) Canham.
Helen married Marvin Ingersoll on July 26, 1942 at the Canham residence in Medina. Mr. Ingersoll died January 24, 1994. Helen worked with her husband at Ingersoll Plumbing as a bookkeeper. She is a member of the Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church. Helen loved to fish and go camping with her family.
Helen is survived by her three children: Shirley (William) Goddard, Donald (Viki) Ingersoll and David (Diana) Ingersoll grandchildren: Michael Goddard, Linda (Robert) Christ, Jason (Kelly) Ingersoll, Brian Ingersoll, Timothy (Colleen) Ingersoll, Daniel Ingersoll and David A. (Jenna) Ingersoll , 12 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Besides her husband, Helen is predeceased by 1 grandson: Paul Ingersoll and siblings: Ruth Canham, Beatrice Canham and Dorothy James.
Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at Oak Orchard Assembly of God Church, 12111 Ridge Road, Medina, NY 14103 on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11 am. A Celebration of life will be held immediately following at noon from the church with Reverend Stanley A. Thurber officiating. Interment is in Hartland Central Cemetery.
