James Douglas Schuck

James Douglas Schuck, age 73, of Gasport, entered into rest on Monday, March 14, 2016 at his home. Born January 26, 1943 in Lockport, NY, he is the son of the late: William and Louise (Schultz) Schuck.

James married Sharon "Gert" Maida September 6, 1974 at St. Joseph's R.C. Church in Lockport. Sharon "Gert" died June 26, 2014. They had been married for almost 40 years, together they made their home in Gasport where they raised 4 beautiful daughters. He enjoyed going to car shows and being with his family, his corvettes and being an outdoorsman. He worked as a journeyman at Harrison Radiator in Lockport retiring in 2002.

Surviving James is his dear daughters: Jennifer (Gary) Dalton of Hamburg, Jaymie (Joel) Freidank of Fritch, Texas, Julie Schuck (Gaylon Andrews) of Falls City, Texas and Jacqueline (Adam) Duersteler of Poth, Texas, and two grandchildren with another on the way. Brother of the late: Robert William Schuck. James had lived in Gasport the past 35 years, previously of Lockport.

Family and friends are invited to attend visitation at the Sherrie-Bream Funeral Home, 4521 Main Street, Gasport on Friday, from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at 11:00 am from St. Joseph Oratory, 391 Market Street, Lockport, NY. Interment will be in Huskey Cemetery, Gasport, NY.
