Allan Roy Hough

1943 – 2012

Allan Roy Hough, 68, passed away Feb. 6, 2012, after an extended illness.

He was born July 20, 1943, in Erie, Pa., to the late Leroy and Alberta Hough.

Allan proudly served his country in the 101st Airborne as a sergeant during the

Vietnam War.

Allan is survived by his wife of 33 years, Susan Hough of Gastonia, NC; sister,

Charlene Barker (Marvin) of Gastonia; brother, Jack Price of Gastonia; nephews

and niece, Caleb, Cody and Carter Price, Brian Yurchak and Michelle Stout; and a

dearly loved Malteese named Bucky.

A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at Carothers Funeral Home, 312

West 2nd Ave., Gastonia.

Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
