I worked with Andrew in the restaurant industry. His energy and compassion for food and friends was purely unique and meaningful. The world has lost a spark that made it just a little brighter.

I met Andrew in January of 2025, this was less than twenty four hours after meeting him we were already going on silly adventures together, after just a couple days I felt like I had a new best friend. This is him pictured with his favorite dinosaur Pachycephalosaurus

Andrew was always more than just a work friend, he was someone I always looked forward to walking through that door - he was someone I felt like I’ve already known for a lifetime.  Someone that made being at work feel like home. Andrew never wasted a minute to express how much our friendship meant or if he thought something I said was “the funniest thing he’s heard me say ever”. Andrew taught me to never be afraid to say how you feel in the moment and to be unashamedly yourself and stand up for what’s right. I miss our talks and I miss you bro!

You guys have left me absolutely speechless. Andrew has always been a social butterfly, but between this memorial page and the gofundme, I clearly never grasped how far he'd flown til now.

Thank you, all of you, from the bottom of my heart.

Our Dearest Dannee
There are no words that can truly ease the pain you’ve feeling right now, but I want you to know that my heart is with you in this heavy moment. What you’re going through is deeply tragic, and it’s okay to feel overwhelmed, confused, and broken. Loss like this is not something anyone can prepare for. I was reminded of a passage that says: “There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under the heaven..a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance,”(Ecclesiastes3)  This is your time to weep. To feel. And you do not have to rush through this. There is no timeline for healing. Please know that it is okay to not be okay. You are surrounded by love, and I will be here—quietly if you need silence, and near if you need company. You are not alone, my sweet girl. Though his life ended far too soon, yours continues—and I believe with all my heart that one day, light will return to the corners of your soul. Until then, know that I am here for you always. You were a bright light in our lives and will forever be a part of us. You entered our lives years ago with energy and enthusiasm for everyone around you. The happiness you brought Dannee will never be lost to time. So, look down on us and know that while among us, you were loved and cherished as our son. Your smile, humor, and caring nature will be missed.

Be at peace, Andrew. We have faith that the pained, the lowly, and the lonely all find refuge in Jesus' arms and that you are truly there.  We hope that through God's grace, we will all be together again.

Growing up across the street, I always avoided you because I knew I wasn’t “fun” or “cool enough” to hang out with you. Even as a shy little kid, I stayed quietly on my side of the street at my grandparents house while you played with lightsabers (or something that you would find to use as a sword) in the front yard. You were always having a good time and finding ways to just enjoy the day.
Once I got to high school you welcomed me with open arms and never treated me like I wasn’t “cool enough.” Your hugs and your smile were pure joy. 
I’m sorry we lost touch, but I always think of you when I visit my grandparents, even after y’all moved. I look across the street and remember all of it. I’ll keep thinking of you every time I look across the street. Rest easy ❤️

I am so shocked and saddened by Andrew's passing.  I will always remember him from when he was in school in Chantilly, VA and came to my house selling oranges for a function for the school.  I became friends with his mother when she and I worked at the same place and have remained friends through the years.  I will keep Andrew in my humble prayers always.  May God Bless him and his family.

Looking back, this was truly a night from heavens. The game night we had the laughs, the fun the drinks. There is nothing like fellowship with beautiful souls and spirits who vibrate on your same frequency and this night with forever be with us. #thebestgamenight

Andrew, I will miss you dearly, you were such a great friend and bright person to be around. Your laughter always filled the room, so glad I got to meet you and know you. Forever grateful for the time spent with you.

When I first met you I felt like we connected so way that can't even explain how j felt about you I will miss our talks and smiles and our jokes and miss playing games with you I love you.

Sweetheart, I can't believe this was only 6 months ago.  Not sure how to handle the world without you in it.  You are going to be missed SO much by SO many people.  I will always love you and you will live on in my heart forever.

I stand corrected although at the moment I did not know this picture existed. You were 19 I was 22 and was getting ready to move to Germany.

Andrew you were always such a ray of sunshine in our theatre department at Chantilly High School. I will never forget your contagious smile and your ability to jump into any tech project and give 100 percent. God bless you and keep you ❤️

I didn't know you that well, but we had a mutual friend in Rachel and we hung out in that same group a number of times. You were only ever a sweet, kind, funny person. Even though I didn't know you very well, you still made an impact on me and I'll miss you. Can't believe you're gone.

This picture sums up Andrew‘s love for our niece, Dannee. From the first moment, Dannee introduced us to Andrew, I knew they would be each other’s half 🫶
