Barbara Friday Lawrence

October 20, 1943 – September 20, 2026

Barbara F. Lawrence of Dallas, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on September 20, 2026, surrounded by her family and with the compassionate care of TerraBella Lincolnton and Hospice of Lincoln County.

Barbara was a retired Registered Nurse who dedicated her career to caring for others. She loved planning travel trips and outings for her senior/retiree group, shopping, and most of all, spending time with her family and friends. She brought joy and companionship to those around her and will be remembered for the many memories she created with the people she loved.

Barbara is survived by her son, Brian Lawrence (Cassey); grandchildren, Taylan Lawrence, Braden Lawrence, and Olivia Lawrence; sisters, June Greene and Lib Moore; brother, James Friday and best friend Gail

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eleanora Pasour Friday and Jennings Bryan Friday.

The family will receive friends at Carothers Funeral Home in Dallas, North Carolina, on Saturday, September 26, from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m.

Barbara will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends, who will cherish the time they shared with her and the many special memories she created throughout her life. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
