

Betty Jean (Finchum) Bolin, 89, went to be with the Lord on October 31, 2017. Betty was born in Miami, Florida. The daughter of Harold R. Finchum and Marie Wilson Finchum (both deceased). She attended Miami Edison Senior High School, where she a member of “The Edison Cadettes.”
She is the widow of Robert L. Bolin. Betty and her husband traveled extensively and developed Mobile Home Parks in Fort Lauderdale, Sebring, Florida and El Paso, Texas. While in Sebring, Betty was a member of The Homemakers of America, serving as President of the local Chapter, and as State President. Betty and Bob retired to Gastonia, NC to be close to their daughter and her family.
Betty is survived by her beloved daughter Bonnie Jean Marosz; Granddaughter, Crystal Marie Marosz (PA), Cody Marosz (Asheville, NC); Great-Grandson, Gavin Marosz (PA), Sister-in-law Sara Finchum (Duane Deceased); Nephew, Bradley (Reina) and Niece Jana Sue Finchum, all of South Florida; Georgia Rauner (Jack), Judi Sistrunk (Brian T.) of Social Circle, GA, Keith Sistrunk (Leslie) and Children, Atlanta, GA, as well as a host of friend all over the United States.
Services will be held at Carothers Funeral Home, Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 2:00 PM, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054 – 704-867-6337.
Betty will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her, for she was a beautiful, loving lady, who loved God, Family, Friends and County.
