I was extremely sorry to learn of the death of Betty Bradley. She certainly raised some great children! I would be at the service, but I have a very involved case set in Lincoln County that morning, so my thoughts and prayers are with you all.

In 1945, Betty Jean and a group of seven other girls and one boy joined the class of 1945 in Cramerton. Gastonia had had added a 12th grade in high school that was to be added to county schools the following year. They were a great addition to the 28 of us in the senior class. Friendships between all of us were formed. Betty Jean and her mother were two of the nicest people I had the pleasure of knowing. They always had a smile in greeting you. We had some great times our senior year without any stimulates prevalant in later generations. High School sports, movies, picnics and drive inns were throughly enjoyed. It is sad to learn of a friends passing at my age. However, It is a most comforting feeling to know they enjoyed a most happy life with a loving family.
this is an important reward to achieve. Bill and Betty attended our last Cramerton  Christmas celebration in december, 2007. We had time then and later at a lunch to catch up on old times as well as information about our families. The world is a better place because of people like Bill and Betty Jean.
