Betty Jane Cable

A lady who went home to be with her Lord and Savior after 89 years here are earth... Betty Jane Cable lived her life with substance and meaning…. Betty passed away on Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at the Robin Johnson House in Dallas, North Carolina. She was a resident of Clover, South Carolina.

She is preceded in death by her husband Luther Cable along with her parents Vester E. Pennington and Lena Blalock Pennington.

Those left behind to share her memories are her sister Doy Calhoun and husband Claude of Gastonia, North Carolina; her brother Harold Pennington and wife Mary of Gastonia, North Carolina.

Betty’s body will Lie-in-State from 1:30 PM – 2:30 PM on Sunday, November 1, 2015

in State Room II at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park.

Graveside service and interment will be conducted at 3:00 PM Sunday, November 1, 2015 at Gaston Memorial Park with Reverend Odell Cook to officiate. Pallbearers are Curtis Calhoun, Bill Pennington, Jason Pennington and Joshua Pennington.
