He showed off his considerable dancing talents during his beach years, when he and Alice were members of the OD Shag Club.
Mr. James is survived by his son, Billy James and his wife Polly; his daughter, Lori James Carter and her husband Todd; grandchildren David James, Andy James, James Carter, Mary Carter, and Peter Carter. He will be remembered and missed by many, especially his lifelong friend Dean Atkinson.
A private memorial service will be held by the immediate family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would much appreciate a contribution to the Alzheimer’s Association.
