Caroll Robert Reeder, 84, passed away June 19, 2015 after a long illness. He was born in Benton County, IL on December 15, 1930 to the late Henry and Agnes Reeder. Caroll was a good Christian man that loved his family. He enjoyed playing rummy, woodworking and attending Ridge Baptist Church. Caroll retired from Buckeye Fire Equipment.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 58 years, Lou Reeder of Gastonia; his children, Marshall and Sherry of Gastonia; 4 grandchildren, Randi, Josh, Lindsay and Ashley; 4 great-grandchildren, Mason, Kendal, Brian and Sawyer.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM, Monday, June 22, 2015 at Gaston Memorial Park, Gastonia. Pastor Chester Waters will preside.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Ridgehoppers of Ridge Baptist Church.
