

Cleo Kitchins Queen, 102, of Cramerton, passed away on Saturday, August 10, 2013 at Caromont Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Aiken, South Carolina and was the daughter of the late Thomas Preston and Rebecca Ann Bonnett Kitchins.
Mrs. Queen retired from Burlington Industries, Cramerton. She was a member of the Women of the Moose, Belmont Chapter #1625. She was a charter member of the South Point Nutritional Program. She was a member of the Cramerton Independent Presbyterian Church.
Mrs. Queen is survived by two daughters, Rebecca Queen of the home, Joyce Rabb of Lexington, North Carolina; one granddaughter, Angela Dowd and husband Richard of Raleigh; one great grandson, Bryant Dowd of Raleigh.
Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at the Masonic Section of Gaston Memorial Park with Pastor Ken Bogle. The family will receive friends at the graveside after the graveside service.
Mrs. Queen was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 68 years, Arthur Lee Queen; three brothers, John Kitchins, Bill Kitchins, Hollie Kitchins; two sisters, Ruth Quattlebeaum, Naomi Kirkland; son-in-law, Bill Rabb.
