Cynthia Anne Jenkins

Cynthia was born on August 24, 1953, to the late James L. and Bobbie Anne Jenkins.

Reading was her happy place. A book in her hands, a soft chair, a little peace, that was her world. She loved reading stories, romance novels, devotionals, anything that fed her mind and her heart.

Her faith was steady and sincere. She lived as a godly woman not through big words, but through the way she treated people: with kindness, patience, and a heart full of grace. Cindy also was a lover of animals and would help transport them when she could. She was loving. She was kind. She was gentle. And she was deeply cherished.

A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Dr, Gastonia, NC 28054.

Left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Leigh Anne Gregory (Jacqulyn); brother, Jeff Jenkins (Brenda); nieces and nephews, Maria Crowley (Corey) and their son, Dylan, Crystal Marcengill (Benji) and their children, Brock, Kindal and Kinady, Anna Stone (Clay) and their children, Clay, Everly, Silas, and Eunie Mae; and her cousin, Sandra Butler (Mike).
