He loved to fish, hunt, collect coins, and collectible cars. Eddie was a past member of Ridge Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC. He worked for Textiles Inc. and Pharr Yarns as a Superintendent.
If Eddie loved you, he loved you completely.
He is survived by his daughters, Christin Stevens and Casey Woods; grandson, Trevor Stevens; brother, Johnny Melvin Norris, Sr.; and sister, Faye Norris Harrell.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by brother, Victor L. Norris and sister, Judy Moore.
A visitation will be held from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm on Wednesday, February 22, 2023 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park with the funeral service beginning at 3:00 pm. A committal service will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
