Evelyn Dobbins Ingle

Evelyn Dobbins Ingle, age 73, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, September 28, 2010 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Rutherford County, North Carolina and was the daughter of the late James and Blanche Grant Dobbins.

Mrs. Ingle was a graduate of Gaston College with an Associate Degree in Nursing. She was a Registered Nurse and retired from Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Lincolnton.

Mrs. Ingle is survived by her husband, Rufus Ingle, her children, Chris Barber and wife Jenny of Gastonia, Sharon Morton, Karen Farmer and husband David both of Stanley, Daryl Ingle of Cherryville, Patricia Greene and husband Bill of Mt. Holly, Steve Ingle and wife Denice of Mooresville, Beverly Ingle of Gastonia, Bruce Ingle and wife Darlene of Mt. Holly, Stephanie Youngblood and husband Mike of Alexis; two grandchildren, Logan and Ragan Barber.

The family will receive friends from 9:30 A.M. to 10:45 A.M. Friday at Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A. M. Friday at The Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home with Dr. Stanley Spence officiating.

Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
