Farris Moore Costner

Farris Moore Costner, 88, of Gastonia, NC died peacefully on April 6, 2023 at Peak Resources. She was born on June 25, 1934 in Gastonia, North Carolina to the late Barney Sylvester Moore and Ida Marie Wise Moore.

Farris was a member of South Gastonia Church of God, Gastonia.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband of 28 years, Robert Lee Costner; ; brothers, Henry Moore; Jim Moore, and Roy Moore; and sisters, Nita Wood, Audrey Beaver, Bernice Posey, and Blanche Baucom.

Farris is survived by her daughter Rhonda Calvert; Son Randy Costner and wife Laura. 8 Grandchildren 14 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

A celebration of life service will be officiated by Pastor Jay Dorsey at 10:00 on Tuesday April 11, 2023 at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia, NC.

Burial will be at Gaston Memorial Park.
