Faye Belle McGinnis

Faye Belle McGinnis, 73, passed away peacefully on March 10, 2016. She was born March 26, 1942 in Gaston County to the late William and Bessie Holland. She will always be remembered by her family for her love of the beach, her fascination with owls and orangutans, planting flowers and working in her yard. She also loved her Mazda Miata. She adored her grandchildren, loved shopping for clothes and spending time at her church.

Faye leaves behind to cherish her memory three children, Barry Holland of Clover, SC, Sandy Manus of York, SC and Kimberly Harris and husband, Alvin of Gastonia, NC; three grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; siblings, Margaret Stone of Gastonia, Ruby Voyles of Clover, SC, Edith Williams of Gastonia, Betty Lou Brandon of Clover, SC, Sandra Ward of Gastonia and Peggy Peters of Gastonia.

She was preceded in death by three siblings.

A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00 PM, Monday, March 14, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 2:00-3:00 PM prior to the service at the funeral home.
