Mr. Maples proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was an avid golfer, a loving father, and retired from Duke Power as a lineman.
He is survived by his fiancée, Brenda Stowe; sons, Keith Maples (Tamela Speaks) and Cameron Maples (Leslie Maples) and grandson, Keith Maples (Elizabeth Maples).
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2026 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, May1, 2026 at Westview Gardens.
