

He was a graduate of Ashley High School in Gastonia, NC. Jarvis proudly served in the United States Air Force during Vietnam as a Medevac for four years. He earned an Associate Degree in Business from Gaston College. Jarvis later obtained his Real Estate License and owned several businesses. He also was a pilot and loved to fly. Jarvis was a Christ Follower and found great peace when he was near the water, whether it was the lake or ocean.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in passing by his sister, Marie Spencer and his two dogs, Jack and Baby.
He is survived by his loving friend and ex-wife of 29 years, Libby Faircloth; brother, Wayne Faircloth and wife Sue; sisters-in-law, Patty Young and Christine Robertson; brother-in-law, Terry Glover and wife Debbie; and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
Visitation will be held from twelve o'clock until one o'clock in the afternoon on Saturday, the 14th of August, 2021 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Gaston Memorial Park Mausoleum at one o'clock with Pastor David Payne officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be sent to Gaston Humane Society.
