Jerry Lee (Wilson) Alexander

GASTONIA - Jerry Lee Wilson Alexander, 79, passed away peacefully Tuesday, May 1st at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born to parents Bessie L. Wilson and Frank L. Wilson on May 24, 1936 in Robbinsville, NC. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by Billy Don Alexander (husband).

Jerry is survived by Kimberly A. Brown (daughter) and her husband, Donald L. Brown, Jr.; Billy Don Alexander, Jr. (son); and grandsons Zachary Brown, Joseph Wilson, Brian Alexander and Christopher Alexander; and two great-grandchildren who will miss her dearly.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Cramerton. Jerry was also a long-time employee of Jackson’s Cafeteria.

A funeral service will be held at Carothers Funeral Home on Thursday, May 3rd at 11am. Interment to follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Gaston County.
