Johnny Ray Cole, age 74, passed away on July 30, 2024. He was born on November 27, 1949 in Gaston Co. to the late Harold Arthur Cole and Stella Beatrice Webb Cole.

He served in the Army National Guard for 16 years. Johnny was a dedicated worker. He retired with 32 years of service from Bellsouth Telecommunications.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Patricia Bell Cole; son, Wyatt Cole and wife Angela; and step-grandson, Scott Williams.

Per Johnny’s wishes, a private service will be held. He will then be laid to rest in Gaston Memorial Park.
