Johnny Graham Pitman

Johnny Graham Pitman, 75, of Morganton passed away at Mc Alpine Adult Care on Saturday January 6, 2024. Johnny loved Bluegrass music. He also really enjoyed playing his guitar while his dad played the banjo. Many will miss Johnny.

Johnny is the son of the late Gladys (Burrell) Pitman and Graham Pitman. His daughter, Jeannie Lynn Pitman Williams precedes him in death. In addition, his sister, Sandra Daniels Pitman and his brothers, Mike Pitman, and Stan Pitman precede him in death.

His sister, Janice (Pitman) Fox and numerous loving nieces and nephews survive Johnny.

The family plans a graveside service at 3:00 pm on Saturday January 13, 2024 in the Hillcrest Garden section of Gaston Memorial Park.

The family would like to thank Mc Alpine Adult Care for the care Johnny received there for many year. A special thanks to Heather and others for the compassion through this difficult time and being by his side, as he passed on to be with the Lord.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorials are given in Johnny’s name to Mc Alpine Adult Care, 3806 Kathy Road, Morganton, NC 28655.
