Joseph Gaither Guffey
July 16, 1928 – December 16, 2018
We had a wonderful grandfather, Joseph "Doc"… One who never really grew old… His smile was made of sunshine, and his heart was made of solid gold… His eyes were as bright as a shining star... We had a wonderful grandfather, and that’s the way it will always be… He’s still keeping an eye on all of us, so let’s make sure he will like what he sees.

Danny, My mother and I were so sorry to learn of your Dad's passing. I have known your parents my entire life. I had an opportunity to visit with them both when I brought my mom to Gastonia a few years ago. I am sure my Dad was there waiting and that they are both sitting around solving the problems of the world like they did for over 50 years. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
