Judith "Judy" Lane Head

Judy was employed with Wix Filters, where she retired after more than thirty-seven (37) years. After retiring from Wix Filters, Judy enjoyed dancing with her friend Hildred McCurry, spending time with her sons, grandchildren, great-grand daughter, her friends, her church family, and her fur-babies.

Judy was predeceased in death by her mother Mary Lee Lane, her husband John Alvin Head, and her son Richard Alvin Head.

Judy is survived by her son Joseph Head (Tammy), her grandchildren, Faith Bell (Tim), Carley Butler (Lawson), Monica Farmer (AJ), Joshua Wall (Stacie), Jordan Wall and Nicholas Wall (Taylor), and great-grandchildren, Mylee Butler, Kaulin Wall, Madison Wall, Brantley Wall, Carsyn Wall, Paisley Wall, Grayson Wall, Avery Wall, Reagan Wall, and Noah Wall, and her special friends Carolyn Clark and Robin Ballard.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 11, 2025 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park. A funeral service will be held at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 12, 2025 in the chapel of Carothers Funeral Home with the burial to immediately follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
