Kevin McKinley Moore

Kevin was born on January 31, 1964, in Mecklenburg County, NC, to the late Daniel McKinley Moore and Brenda Butler Moore.

Kevin was a devoted husband and father who always put his family, especially his boys—first. He was a proud Tar Heel and Bruins fan and enjoyed cheering on his teams with his kids by his side. He worked in Emergency Medicine with Novant Critical Care, serving his community with dedication and care. Kevin also loved spending time at the beach with his family and was happiest with his dogs, Luca and Walker, close by. He will be remembered for his love, loyalty, and the steady presence he brought to those around him.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 38 years, Tracy Rhyne Moore; sons, Ryan Moore and Cory Moore (Bridget); sister, Cheryl McMaus (Tony); brother and sister in laws, Bobby Rhyne, Barry Rhyne (Barbara), Terry Rhyne, and Lenny Rhyne (Kathy); as well as several special nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm – 7:00 pm at Westview Baptist Church, 3385 Fairview Dr, Gastonia, NC 28052.
