Linda, Chris, and Toby,
I was so sorry to read about Jerry in the paper.  It has been so many years since I've seen you all but I did want to let you know that you are being thought of.  You were so good to me when I was young and dumb and messing up so much while I lived beside you.  Your family made it the best time of my life. You have been thought of over the years with joy and kindness.  Linda, please take care, I know the days will be difficult, you two were so inseparable.

You may not remember me (Eddie Wyatt) Jerry and I became close friends when I married Bob Bryson's sister Joyce. We remained close while living in Lowell and lost track of each other after I moved back to Stanley. I thought a lot of Jerry and sadly missed his passing in the paper. I never knew him as Leonard, but as I was throwing out the paper today recognized his picture. We will all miss that mischevious smile, his sense of humor and of course our common interest in cars. He always kidded me about my old chevys, but now that I have restored many that I kept over the years, I'm sure he would admire them as I do. God's peace be with you, Chris, Toby and the grandchildren. I learned from Jerry Ray Love how he passed, so sad indeed.

My mom, Nell Goodman, knew him well. I didn' t know him too well, but I do remember him and Linda. Thoughts and prayers for the entire family at a most difficult time. He will be remembered, especially by the Amp family.
