Leslie – or Nina, as she was known to close friends and family – was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. Nina had been battling a rare and aggressive cancer and fought hard to the very end, she was tired and ready to go home to be with her dear loved ones who passed before her. Nina was a top employee in her banking career and customers remember her for her sparkling personality and beautiful smile. Once retired she took on the role of full time “maw-maw” and was the apple of her grandchildren’s eyes, and they hers. Watching her grandchildren grow was her top reason for pushing relentlessly to overcome her disease and she will remain a beautiful place of strength for them for many years to come in the strong spirit of love she has left with them. Nina was an advocate for those without a voice, she spent many years opening her heart to children, family members, and animals never once giving up on them or leaving any behind. Her husband, children, and grandchildren will never forget the depths of her love, and it is a fond point of remembrance for them. Her children are forever blessed to have had the best mom that there ever was.
Nina is survived by her husband, Wes Prosser, daughter Brittany Wilson, and sons, Cameron Wilson and Justin Medlin, stepson, Wesley Prosser, and daughter in law, Germaine Medlin. She leaves behind 5 granddaughters and 2 grandsons and many family members and friends whom she loved dearly. She was preceded in death by her father, Dennis Pruitt, mother, Patricia Medlin, grandfather, John Medlin, sister, Kelly Medlin and niece, Jordan Medlin. The family takes comfort knowing the joy she must feel to see them all again.
