Linda Jane Lovingood Lovingood Beatty

The sweetest person you ever met… Always thinking of others first… Known to her family as Nana…. Linda Jane Lovingood Beatty, age 68 went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, December 9, 2016 at the Caromont Regional Medical Center with loving family by her side. Linda had an unconditional love for others. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend. Her favorite job was being a Nana. Linda was the daughter of the late William Lovingood and Vivian Thomas Lovingood.

Those left to cherish her beautiful memories are her loving husband of 37 years Tony Beatty of Mt. Holly, North Carolina; one son and daughter in law:Todd and Wanda Flowers of Gastonia, North Carolina; one daughter and son in law: Amanda and Paul Quickle of Hurricane, West Virginia; three grandchildren: Eric Flowers, Nate Flowers and Kaitlyn Quickle; three brothers and sisters in law: Dickie and Peggy Lovingood of Gastonia, North Carolina, Tom and Dianne Lovingood of Ocean Isle, North Carolina, Butch and Jane Lovingood of Leland, North Carolina; a special and lifelong friend: Violet Null of Homosassa, Florida.

A Celebration of Life ceremony will be conducted at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at Centerview Baptist Church, 2300 Acme Road, Belmont, North Carolina with Reverends Robbie Moore and Allen Foreman delivering words of comfort to her family and friends. Active pallbearers are Brian Lovingood, John Teague, Chris Houston, Gerald Loftin, Jerry Osborne and Eric Baxter. Graveside and committal service will follow at Evergreen cemetery in Belmont, North Carolina.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM ~ 8:00 PM Tuesday, December 13, 2016 at Carothers Funeral Home, 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, North Carolina 28054.
