Linda grew up in Mt. Holly and graduated from Mt. Holly High School. She furthered her education at Gardner-Webb College with a degree in Liberal Arts. Linda then proceeded to receive her Nursing Degree from Presbyterian Hospital School of Nursing. She worked as a nurse for 40 years finishing her career as a Charge Nurse at Presbyterian Same Day Surgery.
Linda was a dedicated member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church. She loved her involvement with the Mt. Holly Historical Society and the Community Garden. Linda was a Master Gardner which showed in her beautiful, landscaped home. She was a passionate seamstress who crafted her daughter's wedding dress. Her commitment to her family was unwavering, and her love was boundless.
She is survived by her daughter, Rachel Ann Reilly and husband Matthew Patrick; brother, Bill Robinson and wife Jan; beloved nieces and nephews, Tracy Roberts, Ron Robinson and wife Kelly, Christy Matthews, Jennifer Barker and husband Trent, Erin Lineberger and husband Noel, Matt Robinson and wife Emily, and Stephanie Hilderbran and husband Michael.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her brothers, Ronald Dean Robinson and Michael Eugene Robinson.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 pm until 1:30 pm on Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in with a memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 110 S. Main Street, Mt. Holly, NC 28120.
