Lizzie Jane Vassey Hayes

A native of Lattimore, she was the daughter of the late Riley and Eva Vassey.

Mrs. Hayes was a member of Friendly Baptist Church.

She is survived by her children, Elbert Moser Vassey and wife, Eulene, Virginia Alma Parker of Dallas; and numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Edgar Hayes; daughter, Barbara Aline Howard; five sisters and one brother.

A funeral service will be held at 1pm Monday at Friendly Baptist Church with Pastor Marshall Owens officiating.

Interment will be at Hillcrest Gardens.

The family will receive friends from noon to 1pm Monday prior to the service at the church.
