Marie (Eller) Silvers

Marie was born on April 30, 1930, in Cramerton, NC to the late Weldon Eller and the late Bryte Lineberger Eller. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ken Silvers; great- grandchildren, Brandon Silvers and Kelsey Silvers; sisters, Patty, Betty and Maxine “Mousie”; and daughters in law Susan Silvers and Patsy Silvers.

Marie was a woman whose life reflected her deep love for the Lord.

Her Bible was her constant companion, and her faith guided everything she did. For more than 50 years, she was a devoted member of East Belmont Baptist Church, serving with a humble heart and a spirit full of grace. She loved to garden, finding peace and joy in watching God’s creation bloom around her. Creativity came naturally to her, especially through writing. One of her proudest accomplishments was publishing a children’s book, a sweet reflection of her imagination and gentle spirit. Reading brought her comfort, but nothing meant more to her than time spent in Scripture. Her faith was steady, sincere, and lived out daily. Above all, she loved her family deeply. She was their encourager, their steady place, and their example of kindness. To all who knew her, she truly was an angel on earth.

She is survived by her 5 sons, Randy Silvers (Beth), Barry Silvers, Reid Silvers (Brenda), Keith Silvers and Kevin Silvers; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, David and Lisa Harper.

A visitation for Marie will take place on Friday, May 29, 2026, at 11:00 AM - 11:45 AM at East Belmont Baptist Church, 501 E Catawba St, Belmont, NC 28012, followed by a funeral service at the same location at 12:00 PM. Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 S New Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
