Mary began her career in Textiles and then later found her calling of being a Caregiver. Mary truly enjoyed every moment spent taking care of others. She did it with a gentleness and a respect like no other.
She was a life-time member of Riverwood Worship Center (formerly W. Second Pentecostal Holiness Church) where she served in the choir.
But most of all, Mary loved her family and cherished them above all else.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Johnny E. Howell; sons, Randall Eugene Howell and Roger Glen Howell; brother, Harold Cox; sisters, Jeanette Cox Bryant, Betty Cox Hogue and June Lineberger Price.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Phyllis Howell Hoosier and husband Lynn; son, Russell Howell and wife Tammy; grandchildren, Bill Meek and wife Heather, John Meek and wife Jerri, Randall Howell and wife Sara, Robert Howell and wife Hannah, Timothy Howell, Megan Hoosier, Michael Hoosier, and Stephen Hoosier and wife Jenna; 12 great grandchildren; and sister, Linda Lineberger Hodges and husband T Wayne Hodges.
