Born in Gaston County, she was a daughter of the late F. A. Noblett and Pearl Bradley Noblett. She was a homemaker and a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Mrs. Kimsey is survived by three children, Gerald Ramsey, Jr., Terry Ramsey, and Darinda Tanner; seven grandchildren, Gerald Ramsey, III, Casey James Ramsey, Terry Dale Ramsey, Jr., Brooke Ramsey, Ricky Dale Tanner, III, Harley Tanner, and Kaleb Tanner; and a brother, Jim Noblett. She was predeceased by two brothers, Frank Noblett and Steve Noblett; and a sister, Sally Herron.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2020 at 3:00 PM at Grace Baptist Church with burial to follow in Hollywood Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
