Pat was a vibrant beauty from within and on the outside too. I cherish the memories of her selling cosmetics and of being in the same class of her dear brother, Paul. Thank-you, Jesus, for such a wonderful vessel of honor in Pat.

Guys your Mom Pat 'Gama' Shirley (Mama Pat as I always called her) was one of the most beloved women I have ever and probably will every know. She was an amazing mother who raised an amazing family along with her best friend Rocky. She loved life, her family and people. I will carry with me always all the time we had together. She loved me and my boys Steven and David and welcomed us into her family years ago. She will truly be missed by us but we know she is in Heaven now and is as beautiful and as healthy as she was the day she was born. You will forever be carried on the Wings of your Angel. I love You All. Alice, Steven and David Hauss.

Shirley Family,

I was sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She was a jewel. Ginger I remember fond memories of her carpooling us to the fair and to the ballgames. She always brighten the room with her smile. I also had the pleasure of working with her at Matthews Belk. She was a great lady.
