

Patty Eller Kelly, 80, of Gastonia, passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2014 at Caromont Regional Medical Center with her loving family by her side. She was born in Cramerton and was the daughter of the late Weldon and Bryte Lineberger Eller.
Patty was a graduate of Cramerton High School and was a gifted pianist. She was a member of Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church where she was the pianist for several years after West Cramerton United Methodist Church merged with Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a member of the Adult Sunday School at West Cramerton and Cramer Memorial United Methodist Churches. Patty was pianist for several churches in the Gastonia United Methodist Church District.
Special thanks to the Nursing Staff of Caromont Regional Medical Center who took care of our Mom, treated us like family. The care Dr. Digby and Dr. Phadke showed with love and compassion to all of us. A special “Sis” to all of us, Lorraine Hunter, we thank you.
Patty is survived by her husband of 64 years, Doug Kelly; two daughters, Debbie (Daryl), Denise (Larry); two sons, Mike (Rosey), Mark (Toni); two sisters, Mousie Cox, Marie Silvers; eight grandchildren, Cameron, Jamie, Nicole, Megan, Michael, Jeremiah, Troy Lee, Sherry ; eight great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Wednesday at Cramer Memorial United Methodist Church, 154 N. Main St., Cramerton with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday with Rev. Rick Cloninger and Rev. Sidney Epperson officiating.
Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
Patty was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Betty Starrett.
