

She was born in Shelby, North Carolina on 06/02/1953. Paula graduated from Fort Lauderdale High School where her family moved in her teenage years. After she graduated High School she joined the Military (Army) where the Army took her to San Francisco where she lived for several years but ultimately returned to South Florida to be close to her family.
And there she drove a Broward County City bus for 10 years and raised her son with her former husband until she retired back to her roots here in North Carolina.
She had a passion for painting and exploring her Cherokee roots.
She is survived by her son Richard Byrnes and her grandson Christian Byrnes, former husband William Byrnes, Sisters, Marietta Disher Freeman 79 of Bessemer City, Lynn Williams 69 of Bessemer City, and Jonnie Lancieri of Lowell 65, And Nieces Christina Lucas of Dallas, Regina Lancieri of Lowell. Nephews Octavio Lancieri, Leland Williams of Gastonia, (Danielle) Jeremiah Williams of Dallas (Becca) Great nephews DJ Vineyard of Dallas (Lauren) Peyton Fairbank of Dallas, DJ Lucas of Tenn., Kenneth Williams of Dallas. Great Niece Emmarie Jubin of Lowell. Addison Vineyard of Dallas and Reagan Vineyard of Dallas.
She was pre-deceased by her father Edward F Williams and mother Hazel D Williams and Brother Robert Ted Williams
