Paula M. Lane

She was born on January 14, 1948, in Gaston Co, NC to the late Willie Paul Miller and Ocie Perkins Miller of Ranlo, NC.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Gary Lee Miller of Ranlo, Daniel E. Miller of Marietta, GA, and Donald P. Miller of Gastonia, NC.

She is survived by her daughter, Mandy Cole (and husband Pat) of Gastonia, and her son, Keith Lane of Bessemer City. She is also survived by two sisters, Linda Miller Hanna (and husband Cliff) of Newton, NC and Cathy Miller Wise of Palmyra, MO.

Paula was previously employed by the City of Gastonia. She Cherished her children, and she enjoyed making beautifully embellished greeting cards. She also loved music and poetry, and she was the author of two books.

A visitation will be held at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park, located at 2205 Williamsburg Drive, Gastonia, NC 28054, on December 16, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same venue on December 16, 2025, starting at 2:00 pm with burial to immediately follow at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 S new Hope Rd, Gastonia, NC 28054.
