Pauline Buchanan

She was a native of Gaston County and the daughter of the late Walter C. and Belle Brooks Buchanan.

Miss. Buchanan was a Graduate of Gastonia High School, retired from retail work from S. H. Kress and F. W. Woolworth.

She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, served as a Sunday School Teacher, member of the choir, member of WOM Missionary Group and many other offices of the church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers Paul and Leonard (Buddy) Buchanan and a sister Edna Buchanan.

Miss Buchanan is survived by her cousins, Gretchen Adams of the home, Christopher Adams, Timothy Adams, Bill Pilkington and Bleaka Crisp also other various cousins, special friends and her church family.

Funeral service will be 3:00 PM Wednesday at Calvary Baptist Church with

Rev. Jeff Taylor officiating . Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Tuesday at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
