Peggy Anne Beaver, of Dallas, North Carolina, went to be with the Lord on September 15, 2024 at the age of 89. Born April 18th, 1935 in Gaston County. She was a devoted Christian, wife to a soldier of the Air Force, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister.
Peggy retired from Gaston County Schools and Belks.
Peggy is proceeded in death by her parents, Ida and John Bell; her husband, Colan Beaver; sons, John Beaver and Rex Beaver; and sisters, Johnnie Flanningan and May Payseur.
She is survived by her sister, Sue Scott (Ted); son, Kenneth Beaver (Debbie); Daughter-in-laws, Amy Beaver and Wendy Beaver; grandchildren, Kristyn Beaver Giang (Dave), Matthew Beaver (Megan), Weston Beaver (Mackenzie), Jordan Beaver and Caroline Beaver; great-grandchildren, Faye-Ryan Beaver, Finley Beaver, Ellary Giang and Theodore Giang.
A visitation will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at Restoring Hope Foursquare Church, 1026 Dallas Stanley Hwy, Dallas, NC 28034, from 1:00 PM- 1:45 PM. A Funeral Service to celebrate Peggy’s life will take place at 2:00 PM at the Church with a burial to follow at Gaston Memorial Park, 1200 S New Hope Road, Gastonia, NC 28054.
In honor of Peggy, the family requests that everyone wear her favorite color, purple, the day of her the funeral.
