Mr. Borgman’s roots were in Bridgeport, CT where he graduated from Bassick High School. He worked in the automotive mechanic industry in the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, teaching at Bullard Havens before assuming head of the mechanics division at JM Wright Technical High School the last decade of his career. He was active in various youth ministries at Black Rock Church and in later years undertook mission trips to Mexico to deliver Bibles and shoes to those in need while supporting local pastors in their ministries.
Mr. Borgman is survived by his four children, Lani of Morgantown, PA, Christopher of Charlotte, NC, Michael and his wife Katie of Charlotte, NC, Mark and his wife Kirsten of Lake Wylie, SC and four brothers, Dean, Paul, Dan, and John David and one sister, Joanne. He is also survived by ten grandchildren.
