Ronald Dean Cobb

Ronald Dean Cobb, 59, of Gastonia went to meet his Lord and Savior on Friday October 29, 2021. Ronald was active in his church and he loved the Lord. He was a musician and could play nearly every instrument that was placed in front of him. He loved college football – especially the Clemson Tigers. He worked for the city of Belmont. However, more than anything he loved his family. His family was everything to him. Many will dearly miss Ronald.

Ronald was born September 7, 1962 in Pickens, South Carolina to the late Wilma (Oates) Cobb and Kenneth Cobb.

His three sons, Michael “Brandon” Cobb and his fiancée Heather Briggs, Jesse Cobb and Trevor Cobb and his fiancée Hannah Bright, survive Ronald. He leaves behind his sister Michelle Cobb. Missing her grandfather is his only grandchild – Kayleigh Michelle Cobb.

A Celebration of Ronald’s life will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday November 18, 2021 at his church, Message of Love Church, 306 Pearl Beatty Road, Belmont, North Carolina. The family will receive friends one hour before the service beginning at 12:00 noon at the church. Pastor Jeff Johnson will offer words of encouragement and hope to family and friends that gather to remember Ronald.
