Ronnie was born on May 13, 1950, in Gaston County to the late Marshall Flowers and the late Carrie Morgan Flowers. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Jean Flowers; grandson, Paul Adams Messer IV; and sister, Judy Thomas.
Ronnie was a simple man who found joy in the things that mattered most—his family, the outdoors, and the love of his life. He was a devoted husband who shared 54 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Deborah. In his free time, he enjoyed fishing.
He is survived by his 6 children, Ronnie Franklin Flowers, Kelly Sue Flowers, Phillip Craig Flowers, James Howard Flowers, Joseph Alan Flowers and Rita Michelle Flowers; grandchildren, Cody Flowers, Kelsey Jennings (Griffin), Mckayla Flowers, Craig Flowers, Charlie James Stiles, Landon Ross, Jacob Moore, and Kenna Mae Moore; sister, Nora Flowers and brother, Marshall Flowers.
A celebration of Ronnie's life will take place on Saturday, June 27, 2026 at Independant Full Gospel Church at 1206 Rosewood Dr., Dallas, NC 28034.
