Sadie was a Junior at Forestview High School in Gastonia, NC. She cheered for Rockstar Cheer winning several competitions. Sadie loved her cats, dogs, scrapbooking, butterflies, flowers and plants. She was known for her love of people, her caring heart, and her joyful spirit. Sadie had a sassy personality and a keen sense of fashion, she was a true fashionista. Over the past two years, she fought a courageous battle with Peripheral T-Cell Lymphoma.
She is survived by her mother and father, Tracy Ellett and Matthew Cole; sister, Kierstin Heavin; half-brothers and sister, Jacob, Scott and Samantha Heavin, late biological father, Michael Heavin; grandparents, Debbie McDonald, Kenneth and Karen Cole, and Lisa Foster; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 7:30 pm on Monday, February 17, 2025 at Carothers Funeral Home at Gaston Memorial Park with a Celebration of Life Service beginning at 7:30 pm. She will be laid to rest at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to Hometown Heroes – Monroe, NC, Make a Wish Foundation – NC/SC, Ronald McDonald House of Greater Charlotte, and Levine Children’s Hospital Charlotte.
