Sandra was a homemaker, a loving wife, a mother and grandmother who adored and took care of her family. She had a warm presence, very welcoming to everyone that came into her home and made sure they felt at home right away. She had a beautiful soul. A sweet, kind and caring woman who loved hard. She loved her family the most and it was clear in everything she did.
She leaves behind her beloved husband of 52 years, Tom, who she loved dearly. Her son, Jeffrey, who was her pride and joy, and her two sweet grandbabies, Paige and Dylan. Sandra was also a devoted sister, aunt, great-grandmother and friend. She will be deeply missed but the family finds peace knowing she is at rest, pain free.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday August 12th, 2025, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at Carothers Funeral home at Gaston Memorial Park, 2205 Williamsburg Drive Gastonia NC 28054. A Celebration of life will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
