OBITUARY
Sara Marie Passmore Gosnell
September 20, 1920 – July 1, 2011
Sara Marie Passmore Gosnell, age 90. passed away Friday July 1, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital. She was born in Macon County North Carolina to the late Elisha E. and Minnie L. Castle Passmore.
Ms. Gosnell was retired from Rex Mills Plant Number 1 and a member of Modena Baptist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Virgil N. Passmore and wife Faye of Kings Mt.; three nephews and three nieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Ralph M. Passmore and a sister Blanche Barnes.
Funeral services will be 3:00 PM Sunday at the Colonial Chapel of Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating.
Burial will follow at Gaston Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at Carothers Funeral Home in Gastonia.
